Defiance Christian Academy is committed to teaching from a distinctly Christian worldview. By integrating the truth and context of scripture into all subject areas from the earliest grades onward, students are trained to consider how the idea at-hand aligns (or fails to align) with the Word of God. The combination of Bible teaching and Scripture memory with critical thinking, logic, awareness of current events, and the application of a biblical worldview, creates developmentally appropriate discussions and experiences, at all levels, building a strong spiritual foundation. Our end goal is for students to view humanistic, post-Christian era thought through a biblical lens, countering it effectively with intelligent reasoning, action, and communication.
All classes are built on the foundation of Christian principles to emphasize virtue and build Christ-like character. Our interactive classrooms teach and challenge students to think critically about what they learn rather than just studying or memorizing the content.
We provide a Christian education influenced by the Classical model based on critical thinking, a supportive community, and an impactful relationship with Christ. These elements come together to form well-rounded, conscientious students who have a life-long love for learning.
