The vision for Defiance Christian Academy (DCA) is to be a non-denominational Christian school providing students with a first-rate and diverse educational experience, encouraging a life-long passion for learning as well as post-secondary academic and professional success. DCA will partner with the family and the local Church to develop dedicated followers of Christ. Students will be prepared through a wide variety of social and artistic opportunities, ready to be released to make an impact on the world.

Our desire in launching DCA is to see students rooted in Christ and growing into maturity in Him. Come hear from experienced Christian school leaders about the amazingly positive impact that Christian schools can have on a community.

Coffee with the Principal Round 2: July 20, 2025
We invite Defiance area community members who are interested in DCA to come meet the DCA principal, Denny Mumaw. This is an opportunity to meet Principal Mumaw, learn how to pronounce his name, hear more about DCA, and ask questions.
